So you've got a job/opportunity in Metis. You've already defined the Type and are now deciding how to drive your budgets. If you need to, you can revisit what we mean by Job/Opportunity Type, and the two ways you can drive your budgets by reading those articles.

By choosing a different combination of Job Type and how you are driving your budgets (revenue vs effort driven), you'll see a different view on the Forecast tab of the Job.

You can read more on how Metis calculates the values on the Forecast tab here.

Choose the Job Type-Budget driving style combination you want to see:

Job Type
Revenue-driven
Effort-driven
Fixed Price
As team members charge time and expenses to the job, the actual costs will change (viewable through the Forecast tab). Remember - You cannot make a comparison of budget vs actuals on an individual basis.
As team members charge time and expenses to the job, the actual costs will change and it is possible to analyse the costs variances down to the individual level. However, project revenues for people and time will remain fixed (viewable through the Forecast tab).
Time and Materials
