As an admin in Metis, you can edit timesheets and expense claims on behalf of anyone in the business. You do this in 'Ghost Mode'.

Editing someone's timesheet in Ghost Mode

Editing a timesheet in ghost mode means you can make changes to anybody's timesheet in the business. To use this feature, first, navigate to the Zone Manage > Timesheets.

nav_manage Timesheets_tab

Find the timesheet you wish to make changes to. Click the dropdown arrow against this timesheet.

Dropdown_arrow

Select Edit timesheet in ghost mode to enter the timesheet to edit.

Tip!

You can add, edit and remove items from someone else's timesheet, so be careful when doing so! You have to re-open a timesheet if it has been submitted already. If it has not yet been submitted, you won't see the re-open button as it's already open!

If you want to delete an item from someone's timesheet you can read how to do that here. This process is the same for the individual submitting their timesheet, and you as an admin.

If you want to delete a timesheet, see here instead.

Editing someone's expense claim in Ghost Mode

Editing an expense claim in ghost mode means you can make changes to anybody's expense claim in the business. To use this feature, first, navigate to the Zone Manage > People Expenses.
Manage_zone

People_expenses_tab

Find the expense claim you wish to make changes to. Click the dropdown arrow against this claim.

dropdown_arrow

Select Edit expense claim in ghost mode to enter the claim to edit.

Tip!

You can edit and remove items from someone else's claim, but you cannot add them. Only the individual can add items to their own claim.

As expense claims in Metis are not limited in number by time (i.e. you can have add as many expense claims to Metis as you like in a month), you cannot "re-open" a claim like you can a timesheet. The individual would need to add this new item to their next expense claim.

If you want to delete an item from someone's claim you can read how to do that here.

If you want to delete a whole claim, see here instead.
