Someone who is already Activated ► [?]
1. From the People list page (Zone), locate the Person whose email address you'd like to update
2. Click their name or the Eye
3. Click to enter edit mode
4. Enter the new email address that you'd like to be their new linked email
5. Press Save
Someone who is Invited ► [?]
1. From the People list page (Zone), locate the Person whose email address you'd like to update
2. Click the Invite mail icon next to their 'Invited' status
3. Enter the new email address that you'd like to be their new linked email
4. Press Send Invite
What does this person receive when I update their email address?
The person whose email address you've just updated will soon receive an email from Metisbot that looks like this:
They should click the link to re-set their secure password. Their email address is successfully updated!
The email address I've just updated isn't showing as updated - why?
When you update someone's email address on their profile and save the page, the old email address may remain on their profile and on the hover on the People list page, until the person has accepted their confirmation email change email.
If the email address doesn't update, it's likely that the person hasn't yet confirmed their new email address. Please ask the person to check their inbox for this link, and click through to acceptance. Then you will see their email address has been updated on their profile, and on the People list page.
